RETURN, REFUND & TRANSIT DAMAGE POLICY
Effective Date: September 9, 2026
At Shoppism, each piece - whether a tabletop sculpture, wearable art garment, terracotta artwork, or customised creation - is carefully crafted and quality-checked before leaving our studio. Due to the limited-edition, delicate, and handcrafted nature of our functional art, our policies are defined below:
- RETURNS & EXCHANGES
- Standard Collections (Sculptures, Objects, Wearable Art): Returns or refunds based on buyer's remorse or minor natural material variations are not accepted.
- Wearable Art Size Adjustments: If a non-customised piece of wearable art requires a size fitting adjustment, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package. Sizing exchanges are subject to stock availability and studio capacity.
- Custom & Bespoke Commissions: All custom orders, commissioned artwork, and made-to-measure pieces are final sale and non-returnable.
- TRANSIT DAMAGE & DEFECT INSPECTION
We take utmost care in art-grade packing to ensure pieces arrive in pristine condition. In the rare event that an artwork or functional object arrives damaged or compromised during transit:
- Unboxing Requirement: Patrons are requested to inspect their parcel upon arrival and record a short, continuous unboxing video as documentation.
- Reporting Window: Please report any damage or discrepancy within 48 hours of delivery by emailing shoppismbaroda@gmail.com. Include your order number, photographs, and the unboxing footage.
- Studio Resolution: Upon verification, Shoppism will prioritise either:
- Professional restoration or repair by our studio artists.
- A replacement piece (if feasible within collection limits).
- A store credit or full refund if a replacement/restoration cannot be fulfilled.
- REFUND PROCESSING
Where a refund is approved by our studio management:
- Refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment (bank account, credit/debit card) within 7–10 business days.
- Shipping fees on original orders are non-refundable unless the return is due to a transit damage claim verified by our team.
